About Us

Friends of Dennis Recreation is a non-profit focused on assisting local families and their kids need for recreation programs. We raise money for local families, as we pay for their kid's recreation programs.

It's one of our ways to ease the burden and assist families living on Cape Cod.
The Dennis Road Race, the last Saturday of July, is our biggest fundraiser as we create and sell the road race shirts. Please support the local businesses who are the sponsors on the shirts as they make it possible for Friends of Dennis Recreation to give back. 

In addition to the Dennis Road Race, we want to give back to the community in more ways than handing out checks for kid's recreation programs. We want to be more involved with the community. The Dennis Halloweenpalooza is mainly focused around the cornhole tournament in addition to giving kids another reason to wear their much-anticipated Halloween costumes. Our sponsors able us to offer free face painting, balloon artist, magician, candy "haunt" stilt walker, live music. We sell beer and wine for $5 - what a deal! All proceeds go to Friends of Dennis Recreation. Food Trucks join the event too!
